1 do your keyword research
2 upload video
3 write a quick 400+ word article
4 add appropriate keywords, links, & hashtags
It's a simple process, so don't overcomplicate it. It's essentially a blog post, but with huge benefits!
Our Keyword Research function might be one of the most valuable tools that Incline offers. This little gem will give feedback on any keyword you might be interested in pursuing. The volume number refers to real searches that have happened in the past 30 days, on the entire internet. Watch and see how it works!
80% of all online searches are BRAND NEW - never been typed in before. So use the keyword research tool as a help, but not as an all-powerful final say. Use your brain too!
Uploading and writing on Incline works pretty much the way it does anywhere. Except on Incline, it makes more of a difference to the customer’s bottom line! It may be true that video is the most powerful component. But it must be accompanied by some content; and hopefully that will be fresh, entertaining, well-written and informative content that answers somebody’s questions.
The optimum length for written content without video is 1100-1300 words. So don't be intimidated by 400 words! It's easier than you think.
When you’re trying to rank in organic searches, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do everything, including how you handle headers and tags. Doing them right makes a real difference in ranking power, but it’s not rocket science. Watch this video and learn how to dominate headers and tags in under 3 minutes, and then be astounded at your other-worldly optimization powers.
Always use your main keyword in your title (verbatim if possible), and use it again in the first H1 heading, at the top of your written content.
Linking out to another website or web presence is what extends the ranking power of Incline to that website. You can do some things wrong and still be okay, but if you forget to link out, you have failed. Not to be discouraging or anything, but it’s true. So watch this video and see how easy it is to DEFEAT FAILURE!
You don't have to use a web address as a link, any word or phrase can be turned into a link. It's called an anchor text!
The short answer is: the more often, the better. But just as importantly, the more consistent the better. It would be better to post consistently once a week than to post once a day for a while and then quit because it wasn’t sustainable. So find a rhythm you can handle, and stick with it.
All you have to do is post often, and post consistently. Incline will do the rest!
Repurposing a video is a function unique to Incline, and it’s awesome! It enables a user to utilize the same video multiple times. That way, you don’t have to produce a new video for every different keyword you want to rank for. Watch this little video and see how it’s done.
Repurpose, repurpose, repurpose! That's your new mantra. You're welcome.
It’s a great idea to embed your video from Incline to wherever you want it to show up, because wherever the embed code goes, it brings the ranking power of Incline with it. NOTE: If you paste an Incline link into a Facebook post, your Incline video will play live on Facebook desktop. There’s only one other video hosting service that does that – I won’t say who it is, but its initials are YouTube.
Embed everywhere you have the opportunity. The more buzz you can create, the better.
People care about their thumbnails, and we’re not talking about manicures. This may be overkill, but here’s a video that shows you how to change your thumbnail.
Quick and easy way to make a thumbnail pic: grab a screenshot of your video! Plus, it's already the right dimensions.
Finally, the last video in this PROCESS module! This one is simply a screencast of an Incline post, from start to finish. Plus, music! This is a great illustration of how easy and familiar the Incline process really is.
Start to finish, a post should take about 30 minutes, once you get the hang of it.
